The
vials are made out of 1st hydrolytic class glass, which has good chemical
resistance to acidic and neutral solutions. Due to the fairly low alkali
content also resistant to alkaline solutions. The higher density of the
surface of this glass type guarantees a higher hydrolytical resistance and
a lower expansion coefficient even at high temperature
variations. |

Fisherbrand® Crimp Neck Vials ND8 and Seals
Crimp
Neck Vials ND8 in different design and with different volumes available;
for e.g. CTC A200S, Beckman, Carlo Erba, Dynatech, Fisons, Gilson,
Agilent, VWR (Merck®)/Hitachi, Perkin Elmer, Shimadzu, Spark, Unicam, etc.
Vials that carry a CleanPack label on the front side of the PP-Box have
been packed in a certified cleanroom class 10,000.

Aluminium-Crimp Caps are available with different
liners:

Fisherbrand® Headspace
Vials ND20 and Seals
Our Headspace Vials are made out of glass of the
1st hydrolytic glass and differ regarding volume, type
and length of the neck, design of the bottom. For the choice of the correct vials we specified some
Autosampler -Compatibilities. Beside the correct choice of the septa it is
also important to choose the correct crimp cap.
Headspace Caps are safety caps for Headspace
analysis, which should avoid explosion of the vial in case of too much
internal pressure. The Headspace Caps have special score-lines with
bridges that break open at an inner pressure of 3.0 ± 0.5 bar. Thus the
excess pressure escapes and the risk of vial explosion is avoided. Thus
they correspond to the patented PERKIN ELMER Pressure Release Seal
consisting of an Aluminium Cap with a slit, a metal star washer plate and
a liner with ears. This system only releases excess pressure reliably when
using a vial with such a top. |

Handheld Crimping Tools
Fisherbrand offer a broad range of manual crimping
and decapping tools for usage in labs. They include tools for caps with a
diameter from 7.5mm up to 32mm as well as crimpers for speciality caps,
such as Flip Top/Flip Off or Flip Tear Up Seals. The crimpers are
especially designed for usage in lab, as they have a chemical resistant
surface lacquering. Hardened crimping jaws made of a special alloy
guarantee long life. All crimpers are adjustable in crimping pressure end
position by a screw in the handle; furthermore 11mm, 13mm and 20mm
crimpers are also adjustable in crimping height by screwing up and down
the pressure block in the crimping head with a hexagon key. Thus the user
can achieve an optimal crimping result depending on type/thickness of the
vial’s crimp neck and type/thickness of the closure’s
septa. |
